Advance Inventory lets you configure the minimum and maximum quantity allowed in the shopping cart. In this article, you will get to know how the advance inventory works.
Login to Backend
Navigate to Catalog -> Products.
You will land on Products where a list of all the added products is displayed. When you go to the Edit option in the Action Column you will land on the edit page of that particular product.
Here you have to scroll down to Quantity.
You will be able to see the Advanced Inventory option. By clicking on it, you can add the details such as how much quantity you want to keep as minimum and how much to keep as maximum in the shopping cart.
Those quantities you set here as Minimum and Maximum, that much quantity can only be added by your customer.
