Dye-sublimation printing (overall printing) in the method in which the designs and patterns are engraved on the heated thermal paper these papers are known as dye-sublimation paper. Then heat and pressure are applied to the paper and fabric when they pass through the machine so that the designs are transferred to the fabric.

Common fabrics for dye-sublimation
Polyester
This kind of fabric is commonly used for dye sublimation printing. The polymers in the fabric can easily open up when the heat is exposed. The dye can easily enter the fabric through its pores and get locks there when the fabric is cooled down after the printing process is over.
Nylon, spandex, and others
Nylon, spandex, and a couple of others can also be used other than polyester(Polyethylene terephthalate) fabric.
However, its cost-effectiveness and easy-to-use characteristics have made it best for the dye-sublimation process.
Cotton
Most of the shirts or t-shirts printed through sublimation are cotton. Cotton clothes are smooth and really snug to wear.
