Embossing is the process in which the raised images, patterns, designs, or text are created on a substrate like metal, leather, or paper. Embossing is commonly used for business cards, stamps, paper cups and is a well-known technique in crafts.

Different types of Embossing

Registered Embossing

In Registered Embossing, the embossed images register absolutely to a printed image or a foil stamp. The raised look is given to the image through embossing.

Combination Embossing

In combination Embossing, the image created embossed image is foil-stamped

Single Layer Embossing

Single Layer Embossing refers to the technique in which the image zone is raised up to a single flat level.

Multi-Layer Embossing

Multi-Layer Embossing refers to the technique in which the image zone is raised up to multiple levels with different heights. 

Glazed Embossing

Glazed Embossing refers to the technique in which the shiny and glassy image is formed on the materials such as vases, plates, or other glass material.
