Yes, your customers can save the designs onto your store after customization. Here is how they can do it.
Frontend
In order to save the design, your client should have an account with your store. Here is how they can register themselves.
Once your customers have successfully created their accounts, they can save the designs by clicking on the “Save Design” icon at the top. After clicking on the icon you have to give a name to the design and click on the “Save” button.
After saving the design, your customers can see the saved designs into the “My Designs” section.
