UV radiation causes sublimation prints to fade quickly when exposed to direct sunlight. It has little to do with the ink and paper used in sublimation printing. The main cause is long-term printing exposure to direct sunlight. It causes the sublimation print to fade more quickly.
Washing
If you want to know how to make my sublimation prints more vibrant, keep track of how many times you wash your clothing. Washing has a major effect on ink fading. If you use sublimation printing, the ink interacts with the fabric and the water, allowing the ink to fade over time. Your customers’ favorite t-shirt, for example, is very likely to fade if they wash it in hot water daily. As a result, advise your customers to wash only as required.
