Virtual Printer
A Virtual Printer is an application that replicates the software interface for the actual printer and with the help of a virtual printer you can carry out various tasks without actually printing anything.
A virtual printer works with print drivers that are coded to send their output to other applications rather than to a physical device. The software can help save resources because it makes it possible to carry out tasks that would formerly have involved actual printing without wasting paper and ink. Such as:
- Sending documents to a fax server.
- The documents can be viewed so that errors and formatting can be fixed before the actual printing.
- Creating other image files, such as JPEG, GIF, and PNG from the documents.
- Creating PDF files from other types of documents.
