The template section in the front end store view refers to and shows both the templates according to the products which are being customized.
- Design Template
If your customer is designing a product in which you have enabled the design templates then all the design templates and their respective categories defined for that product will be listed in the template section.
Once the design templates are managed and configured from the Back End, your customers can load the Default Templates by clicking on ‘Templates’ tab in the Product Designer Page.
Design templates can only be viewed for the products for which the templates have been assigned.
- Product Template
If your customer is designing products like a calendar, photobook, visiting cards etc with fixed attributes, then the template section will show all the product templates assigned for that product. Product templates can be viewed for the product in which the templates have been assigned. You can apply the template of your choice, simply by clicking on it. Product templates can only be viewed for the products for which the templates have been assigned.
