What actions can be taken from the backend for placed orders?

Working with the collection of grids, one can use the action to apply the operations to one or more records. You can update the record or apply the edit to a batch of records. For taking multiple actions, you can find the list of actions on the page. Let’s check out.

Backend 

To apply the action for the placed orders, go to Sales Orders, you will redirect to the “Orders” page. 

To apply an action to the particular orders, mark the checkbox in the first column of each order.

Select the following actions from the “Actions” dropdown menu.

Cancel: Click on the “Cancel” button to cancel the order.

Hold: Click on the “Hold” button to hold the order.

Unhold: Click on the “Unhold” button to unhold the order with “Hold” status.

Print Invoices: Click on the “Print Invoices” button to print the invoice of the selected orders. 

Note: To print the invoice of the order it is necessary to submit the invoice for it. Read this detailed breakdown to print the invoice.

Print Packing Slips: A packing slip is a document containing the information related to the order which is packed in the box. 

Print Credit Memos: A credit memo is a document containing the amount due to the customer for a partial or full refund. Click on the “Print Credit Memos” to print the digital copy of the credit memo.

Print All: Print all is similar to the “Print Packing Slip” it consists of the details related to the product.

Print Shopping Labels: Shipping label is the piece of paper in which sender’s address, buyer’s address, and package’s weight, etc. Click on the “Print Shopping Labels” to print the digital copy of shipping labels.
