When the product is added they are categorized to various categories. In this article, you will get to know how to add categories to the product.
Login to Backend
Navigate to Catalog -> Product.
You will land on Products where a list of all the added products is displayed. When you go to the Edit option in the Action Column you will land on the edit page of that particular product.
Here you have to scroll down to the Categories drop down section from where you can add categories from the options displayed.
You can also add new categories by clicking on the New Category option. Here you have to enter the category name and select the parent category from the option.
