Configurable products are the products with various configurable attributes like product color, brand, size and more. Configurable products allow customers to choose from available options while placing an order.
With PrintXpand’ product designer, you do not have to create different products for different attributes. Our configurations feature allows you to create a product and define various attributes to it. The products created using this configuration feature are known as “Configurable products”. The products with various attributes created in the configurable products are listed on your product list and are saved as “simple products”.
So, the main configurable product that you create from the back-end is known as a parent product. And all the other products with various attributes associated with the parent product are known as child products.
