Form-based design on PDP (Product Detail Page) refers to a layout where users customize or configure a product using a structured form directly on the product page. Instead of static information, the page includes interactive input fields (like dropdowns, textboxes, file uploads, etc.) that collect user data before adding the item to cart.
If the Form-Based Design feature is enabled for a product, you will see the following three form-based steps on the Product Detail Page (PDP):
- 1. Select: In the first step, select the color, materials, brims, and delivery preference for the product.
- 2. Design: In the second step, you can customize the text, upload images, or reset images to default.
- 3. Checkout: In the final step, you can either add the product directly to the cart or open it in the Designer Tool by clicking the respective button.
