- Restricting a design element/area can be done with the help of the “Ultimate lock” button. Lock feature is specifically built for the admin. This feature can be used to make certain designing attributes, static.
- In order to do so, navigate to the Product Designer ➤ Manage Product Template section. Here, all your product templates will be listed.
- Click on the EDIT button in the action column, for the template which you want to make the changes in. This will redirect you to the Product designer tool page.
- Select the design attribute/area that you want to restrict. In the right panel under the tools section there will be a Lock button. Click on it and the selected attribute will be locked on the design. Click on “Save Template” to save the changes.
- Hence, your customers won’t be able to make changes on these locked attributes/areas.
The seventh button from the above list is the “Lock” Button.
