Manage Template
The admin can create or manage existing templates from the Manage Templates section. To access this, navigate to:
Product Designer > Manage Template
This page displays a list of all existing design templates.
To create a new template, click the Create Template button. This action will redirect the admin to the Add Design Template page.
In the Product in Template section, select the product to be used in the template by clicking the checkbox next to the respective product.
Next, navigate to the Design Template Information page and configure the following fields:
- Template Title: Enter the title of the template.
- Visible in Front: Select Yes from the dropdown to make the template visible on the storefront.
- Methods: Select the method for creating the template from the following options:
- Upload Artwork.
- Select Artwork.
- Design It.
- Available for Seller: Select Yes to make the template available for sellers.
Methods
Upload Artwork
If the admin selects the Upload Artwork method, an Upload Artwork field will appear. Use this field to upload the artwork. The uploaded artwork will be added to the design.
Click the Save button to save the template.
Note: Only SVG file formats are supported.
Select Artwork
If the admin selects the Select Artwork method, an artwork pop-up will appear. Select the preferred artwork and click the Continue button. The selected artwork will be added to the design.
Click the Save button to save the template.
Design It
If the admin selects the Design It method, a Save and Go to Design button will appear next to the Save button. Clicking this button will redirect the admin to the Designer Tool, where the template can be created as needed.
After designing the template, click the Save & Back to Store button. This action will save the template and redirect the admin to the Manage Template page.
Front Store
In the storefront, open the Designer Tool for the selected product and navigate to the Templatefeature under the Design tab. The created templates will be displayed here. Click on a template to apply it to the design.
