Products are provided with a specific area so that your customers can design the product with their creativity. This area is known as the Product Design Area .
Now it is a pain to add design areas for multiple products at a single time, so to reduce the burden of admin we have introduced an Import/Export feature. With this feature you can directly import the design areas of all the products.
Navigate to Product Designer -> Manage Import/Export.
You will land on the Manage Import/Export page. Firstly, you have to export the product list with the design area fields for that select the Entity Type as Product Design Area from the drop-down and click on Export button.
By doing so, a sample file will be downloaded to your system. In the file, you can see all the products with the design area details (if added) you can add the design area details of other products.
- Design_area_id: Enter the design area-id
- SKU: Enter the SKU.
- Image: Enter image path.
- Image_id: Enter image Id.
- Imageside_title: Enter the image side title for example: front or back.
- Size_unit: Enter the image size Unit like Pixel, Centimeter, Inch or Millimeter.
- Designarea_width: Enter design area width.
- Designarea_height: Enter design area height.
- Designarea_left: Enter the design area left side space.
- Designarea_top: Enter the design area top side space.
- Output_based_on: You need to add the specific “Output File Generation” options. You will have 3- options to select the Output File:
- By Product Image Size
- By Custom Size
- By Design Area Size
- Output_width: Enter the output image width size.
- Output_height: Enter the output image height size.
- Custom_output_width: Enter custom output width size.
- Custom_output_height: Enter custom output height size.
- Use_parent: Enter “Yes” if you want to enable the parent design area for the variant.
- Default design area: If you set “true” value for the “Design Area Size”, You can output ratio according to the Width & Height of the design area for the best output result.
- Masking: You have to add the masking image name which you have created from the Manage Masking image section under Product Designer.
- Price: Enter a price for the design area.
Note: You can add multiple design areas for a single side.
After entering the details now import product design area file for that you have to select the Entity Type as Product Design Area from the drop-down.
Then in the Import section, you have to insert the file that you want to import. After uploading the file click on the Import button.
Once clicking on the import button, file will be validated and again you need to click on the import button, then the design area will be imported.
